Civil War in Syria..?

Read this link for a brief overview of what's been happening.

Lately, Syrian Army defectors have been taking bold measures against the Syrian government, using rocket launchers to attack Government buildings. Many believe that Syria is headed for civil war, or that it may already be in a civil war.
It's becoming clear that the Middle East is in more turmoil than usual. Unrest is  finally reaching a breaking point in many countries such as Egypt, Iran, Libya, and Algeria. For Syria, the turning point came when the the Arab League suspended Syria's membership earlier this week and the Free Syrian Army gaining momentum and becoming more organized.
Even though this latest attack involved rocket launchers, for the most part, protest and dissent has been mostly peaceful. It is my believe that protestors must remain peaceful in order to achieve their goals, otherwise the Syrian government will label them as terrorists. If they are peaceful and the government still uses violence, it makes the government look bad, which can  bring in support from outside countries such as the US.
